PRIMARY SCHOOL PLAY LEADER
Job description
Primary School Play Leader
Pay: £20 Per Hour
Hours of work: up to 20 hours per week
(15 hours managing the wraparound, up to 5 hours planning)
Monday to Friday - 15:00 - 18:00
Sessions: Wrap Around Care after school
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: September 2025
Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents, putting on fun and engaging sessions including indoor activities and outdoor activities in a child-led environment.

We are partnered with schools across Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire, delivering multiple sessions such as Before School Clubs, Lunch Clubs, PE Lessons, After-School Clubs, Wraparound Care and Holiday Camps.
There will be hours during the holidays available for work also, where we run our very popular half-term activity camps.
Job responsibilities:
- Running a wraparound session at one of our partnered schools in a child-led environment.
- Follow basic planning and keeping on top of basic paperwork.
- Will be able to prepare healthy snacks.
- Engaging with children during child-led play
Successful candidates will demonstrate;

- Willing to undertake any relevant training including DSL Safeguarding, first aid and food and hygiene
Successful candidates will undergo constant continued professional and personal development and will be expected to attend additional external training to enhance their knowledge.
