It was built and painted following the children's design. If you would like to have a go, it is in the stable block as the final activity of the Easter trail.  Wimpole staff have said it has been very popular! Well done Owl Class!

Hedgehog Class made chick and egg decorations,  Badger Class made cellophane  egg decorations whilst Owl Class made and decorated 3D eggs. The tree will be in the school lobby until the end of term and then taken to St Laurence Church for Easter.

Children wrote a story about going into a mysterious castle and then, in Buddy Group Assembly they guessed which non-fiction book was the favourite book of each member of staff.

Following the theme of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, the children coloured a bird and made paper plate nests. The children then researched to find out more about birds we might see in our gardens. The nests and information has been put on display by the library and looks amazing.

They also decorated Christmas decorations to be hung on one of the Christmas trees in Wimpole Hall. The children have been given complementary tickets to visit Wimpole Hall this weekend and see their decorations. Look out for more photos!

The workshop involved designing benches and tables for use at the Burlington Press site. There were many excellent designs and the company made some into actual benches and a table. One of the benches was donated to school and we think it looks amazing!

He led an assembly and even had Mrs Muir joining in! Each class then completed a workshop in the glorious sunshine outside.

Skipping Ninja taught the children new tricks and skills as well as all sorts of different ways to skip!

In the morning, we took on the role of evacuees and wrote letters to home explaining our experiences after researching the accounts of real evacuees. After play, we were all invited to a WW2 café, which included spam sandwiches! After lunch, we took part in a number of games that were popular in the 1940s, such as pick-up sticks, jacks and battleships.
