World Book Day 2019
World Book Day at Foxton School
The latest News from Foxton Primary
If the school needs to close due to poor weather it will post the news here. The school will only close if there is insufficient skeleton staff or if the premises are unsuitable. If in the case of ice or snow, if staff can get in to school, the site will be deemed safe because we can stay inside!
If we need to close - we will post a message as a News flash on the website, send an email and contact the local authority. We will endeavour to contact local radio stations: BBC Radio Cambridgeshire or Heart Radio.
Please assume that the school will be open.
If there is sufficient good snow the children will be allowed to play in it at lunchtime ONLY if they bring a change of outdoor clothes (not PE kit) including wellington boots.

Class 4 joined other primary schools around Cambridgeshire in an event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of First World War. A total of 600 children were involved in the day.
The watched a First World War drama with a professional company and took part in two interactive workshops. The day ended with a reflective service.
