Class 2 & 3 Celebrate the Sukkah festival
Class 2 & 3 celebrated the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot. They built a 'Sukkot' hut using leaves and flowers. 'Sukkot' were the huts in which the Jewish people lived during their years in the desert after they left slavery in Egypt and before they arrived in the Promised Land (Israel). They also made delicious Jewish cakes filled with apples, a fruit of the autumn harvest festival season, and cinnamon.
