At Foxton Primary School we use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revisited for the teaching of phonics and early reading. Phonics is taught in Reception and Year 1 at the start of the day. 

We use decodable Little Wandle reading books for our reading sessions in Reception and Year 1 and in Year 2 children read Little Wandle Fluency books. Children read the books in the 3 weekly sessions and take the book home on Friday to read at home. In addition, Little Wandle spelling is used for Year 1 and Year 2.
