On a wonderfully rainy spring day, Class 1 went to Wimpole Farm to learn all about animals, life cycles, and farming.
We had a lesson on the life cycle of chicks, and then explored the farm in groups.
Because it was lambing season, we were lucky enough to witness a lamb being born right in front of us! The children were very considerate and watched very quietly as the ewe gave birth to her lamb.
We love learning from each other here at Foxton, which is why Class 1 children were so excited to be invited to Class 3's Museum of Egyptology! They taught us about ancient forms of writing, ritual and dressing.
