Headteacher's welcome
Welcome to Foxton Primary School and our school website. We hope you enjoy browsing it and that you can find all the information you need.
Foxton School is situated in the physical and social heart of the village, next door to the village hall, with the community’s recreation ground and church just a few minutes away. We are fortunate to have a modern and well-designed building to house us and the people who gather inside it create a happy and purposeful environment for our learning.
We’re also very lucky to have plenty of outdoor space for our pupils. There’s a large playground, with a special play area for the younger children, plus a large grassy area complete with a wooden trim-trail and outdoor gym equipment. There is also a garden of raised beds, which is used by all the children to grow vegetables and flowers, and a separate playing field with a football pitch.
We provide a curriculum that acknowledges the importance of the basic skills, but endeavours to teach those basic skills in an exciting way. We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that allows each child to find an opportunity to shine. Foxton is a small school and this allows us to nurture a very welcoming and caring atmosphere.
Please don’t hesitate to make contact with the school if there’s anything you need to ask. Our office staff will give you a warm welcome, and offer a wealth of information!
